What to expect

If you haven’t seen a psychologist before, it is natural to feel unsure before your first appointment.

The first appointment is an opportunity for you to tell me about yourself and share what you are struggling with. I will explain my approach and support you to decide what you would like to do next.

You may feel OK after just one session, or you may want to come back for more sessions. We go at your pace.

I am a neuroaffirming psychologist and welcome you to bring anything with you that makes you feel comfortable (snacks, drinks, fidgets). Please note that I work in a location with other health therapists and medical practitioners, so support animals are unable to join clients in our sessions for the safety and well-being of others using the space. The waiting area is calm and you are welcome to help yourself to tea, coffee or water while you wait for our session.
