Dafna Psychology supports people to overcome personal challenges
and to navigate difficult life circumstances.
No issue is too big or too small. Whether it takes several sessions or just one, I’m here to listen and support you to create the life you want.
Hi there!
I’ve worked as a psychologist in a variety of settings, including as a researcher at universities and a federal government agency, as a clinician in hospitals and community rehabilitation centres, and in health service design and managing departments.
I’ve worked in private practice for many years, usually for someone else. A few years ago I decided to create my own small practice. I have a fascination for Iceland and decided dafna was the perfect name, as it means “to thrive and prosper” in Icelandic - exactly the type of life I want for all my clients.
My approach
I create a safe and non-judgmental space. We explore how your past experiences influence how you see yourself and others. Our work will go at a pace you are comfortable with. Together we will find the tools and strategies that work for you as an individual, so you can start living the type of life you really want. My approach is neurodivergent-affirming and trauma-informed.
